Overview

In general, the use of Songeya follows a logical sequence:
- Material Definition: Define the properties of materials.
- Section and Thickness Definition: Define section and thickness properties using the available materials.
- Grid Definition: Create grids to assist in drawing the model.
- Model Definition: Build the geometry of the structure using frames or shells, applying the defined section and thickness properties, respectively.
- Meshing: Generate a mathematically valid model by meshing objects.
- Loading: Apply loads such as dead loads, live loads, wind, and other actions to the model.
- Boundary Conditions: Define supports and constraints.
- Analysis: Run the analysis to calculate the structural response.
- Post-Processing: Visualise results through diagrams, contours, and reports.
- Design and Verification: Check results against the relevant design codes.
This manual explains each feature of Songeya in detail, guiding you through the process of building models, performing analyses, interpreting results, and conducting design checks.
